yea, i dont like the sound either. way too loud
yeah, i think theres no way around the noise issue with a side exit. damn...i kinda got hope that i could quiet it down enough, but eh. time for a a rear-exit catback?

If there was a way to lower the pitch of that exhaust, it would sound better.
Spec For Life....!!! ( I have an SE-R... Does that mean that I am dead...?)

SoundEfx up in here causing trouble.....

" That bam-bam is MINE..!! "
VQ35DET for the win... and VQ35DETT for the TiTs..
What if you swapped in a VQ35, equal length headers, 3" collector, 3" cat, chambered muffler 3" in and Dual 2 1/4" out side exiting both left and right through cherry bombs. never mind... it would sound awesome! Please do it... somebody. anybody. Why do I think of this stuff?maybe I'll do it?!
I've got a side exit exhaust too. The people who were at the Tennessee meet got to hear mine. it does get pretty loud at WOT but its quieter than the cat-back exhaust that was on it before even at interstate speeds.

wow. thats really all you have in mufflers/resonators? I had a muffler AND a resonator and it was so loud, it distorted your voice inside the car haha...

Sounds good but very loud nonetheless!
Wow those sound WAY different than my side exit.
I'm running 3" side exit. I have a 3" ceramic honeycomb cat into a 3" in/out 30" x 5" x 8" straight through muffler. The magnaflow is the KEY to deep sounding. It soaks up tons of the bad frequencies.
I will do a video (been meaning to for a while.)
It is very loud but I think it sounds better than those.
I am replacing it soon I think.
3"... interesting, How is your ground clearance? 3"round tip or oval? Vid please!
hm. i dont think the issue is how deep it is. its the actual noise level because the side exit i was running was extremely deep. the problem was, it was so loud (and so deep) that it distorted your voice inside the car. it was like standing near a huge concert-sized speaker and a bass guitar was playing. maybe not quite as loud, but it was DEEP. but yeah, can you get a sound clip?

is it just me or does this seem ricey?
i mean ..it really serves no purpose, and no function..maybe slightly since it less pipe to go through..
might as well run an open header

eh, it may seem ricey to some, ok to others. its different, and while not everything different is great, some people seem to like it. i did it to be different. but not everything different is ricey so to each his own right?
