i was wondering if any body did a write up on how to do the VQ35 swap and did anybody do a write on how to swap a 2.5 automatic transmission for a manual transmission. I need to know how to do those things for latter reference.

if youre gonna do a vq swap, might as well get a maxima tranny and get it over with, instead of getting a spec tranny cause u still need a vq bell housing... i dunno if there is a write up.

i know what your thinking but, i wanted the write ups not to be related, so one write would be for the vq swap and one will be for the 2.5 automatic to manual swap, you now what i mean, honestly i just want to swap my auto for a manual and thought a write with the steps,parts and the amount of money it will cost would be interesting.

nope. no write ups has been done. 1 person did it on this forum but dont think he did a write up about it

i know the stp guys, they did yuri's car from auto to 6spd and it wasnt cheap (but this was years ago)
so you pretty much want a list of parts? heres what i can tell you off the top of my head:
-clutch
-flywheel
-shifter cables and assembly
-drivers side axle
-brake pedal
-clutch pedal
-might wanna also get a spec v ecu
-clutch master cylinder
-clutch line
-transmission mount and bracket
-starter
-well... 6 spd tranny of course
-flywheel bolts

i have a feeling im missing something but thats the bulk of the parts

thats a long list um seems like its a mission to do that, i rather pay some one to do that,thanks
