Thread: Users with Yahoo! email addresses

Yahoo is blocking emails from B15U.com, not sure why at the moment. It's not a spam issue, but a DNS issue (for the nerds). If you have a Yahoo account, you probably haven't been getting notification emails. There are 240 emails stuck in queue all belonging to Yahoo users, I'm currently looking into this. Also, why the hell would anyone use Yahoo email? There's this service called Gmail, get on it.

Yahoo is for all the emails I prefer not to be sent to my professional email. Lol.

But I'm still getting the B15u ones, they are sent to my phone every second... Wish I could just unsubscribe from all threads in one click. Haha.

Ah good to know, so I guess it's some Yahoo users, great

I get subscription emails just fine... about 300 of them. Let's just say I changed that in the settings...

I get my notifications to my yahoo account, but lately they are always delayed. I rarely get one right after someone posts, some even show up a day or two later. Started happening a few months ago, before that I would get them on time.

Karl is right, I usually see the threads way before I get notified by email. Lol

i'm getting delays with gmail too!

i wonder if thats related to the chatbox being 20minutes behind

Sometimes I actually don't even get a notification on my gmail.

there is almost 300 email messages stuck in queue on the server, all yahoo users....this delays regular emails from going out instantly

You could simply select the "no notification" option in the USER CP!

Knowing what 'dns' is DOES NOT make me a nerd damn it....lol

Do you have control of the site's dns server(s)?

Thanks, lol. Thought I had done that before and didn't see a change. Fixed.

it is real bad if yahoo is getting shown up by hot mail!

Yes, I actually found the issue, qmail (the mail server) does not like dns responses over a certain size. I applied a patch, re-compiled, and all seems well.

i hate yahoo mail alot of scammer and block alot of email from my family's work email automatic send to scam mail wtf. stupid yahoo.. i delete the yahoo account and feel better no scammer anymore
