Yeah, its my DD, so I want to be extra safe! Working on getting all the safety stuff...window switch, fuel pressure safety switch, WOT switch. Still need to get a purge kit, bottle warmer, and maybe a progressive controller.

Right now, I'm cleaning all the jets, nozzles, and distribution blocks. I also ordered the wrench to take apart the solenoids so I can inspect them for wear and replace any parts necessary. I'm also trying to figure out where the best place is to install the jets on the IM. Has anyone done this yet? I don't mind being the guinea pig, but it is always nice to see what others have done.

Definitely do a progressive controller if you're going direct port. It's sweet stuff.

I'll be running direct port by next season, currently on a 75 single.

Be sure to get all the extra components you listed above, every safety feature helps, especially if its your daily.

And definitely get a progressive controller. Some come combo'd with a window switch AND wot switch, which makes things really nice to setup.
