I'm not sure where to post this now ....I am supercharging this bad boy now also. Travis is making some modifications to my current build to handle both the direct port nitrous and a supercharger! Should be a blast to drive. I'm installing the supercharger on my current stock motor with the lowest psi pulley for now.
this suddenly got wild

Yay!!!!!!
I'm excited to join the supercharged club! It wasn't too hard of a decision. I like to be different, that's why I went with a nitrous build in the beginning. I started getting worried about how the car would be without spraying, which would be 90% of the time I drive it. That is what drove the decision to go with a dual power adder setup.
Im building an engine currently to push the limits of the c-1. You might beat me to it! Me and karl are going to be switching to a rotrex, itd be nice to see someone else exploring this platformstick around
2 power adders.. sick!!! anyone else on here running boost and spray?

Thanks Barry. I keep buying more parts and changing up my build. I hope the car is still streetable when it's done. I kind of lost sight of that, which is so easy to do with all these great parts coming out!
My biggest problem, that you and others pointed, out is that it will be unsafe to drive the kids around with a roll cage in it. I need to give this more thought. I only plan on taking the car to the drag strip a few times a year. Is it feasible to buy a bolt in cage to take in and out of the car?
yes
it takes some work to get in [2.5 hours, the 2nd time], awkward to get out [takes two people, weighs 75lb], but actually helps you strip down the car of interior trim, [which i then race the car without]
and it makes you crawl under, tighten and check other things before you get to the track.
mine has been in and out at least 4 times
changing your mind during a build, and losing sight of what you intended at the start.
that is my plan lol
seems inevitable
but it's good to wake up early

Thanks again. This will be the route I will take. I started looking into buying a beater, then said to myself what are you doing??? My whole point of playing with this car was to have a fun DD that I could take to the track here and there since I really can't justify paying to upkeep two cars at the moment!
that is my wifes biggest neg
i keep pouring $ into a car that does not yet run and has no plates
