Well guys, i've long awaited this thread, I bought an EK9 Civic finally.

With the help of my friends we pulled off a K24 hybrid swap, and it's finally running. Hopefully, I can bring it to DPA next week. I only have one pic and I didn't buy rims yet, please don't laugh, all the money that I had to spend went into the motor and fixing the drivers side door which was smashed in.

Yes yes, bring on the Honda jokes, this car will pwn you all...nah lol. j/k. I got it cuz I've always liked these and I wanted one for such a long time.

you would never know that car has a k24 swap. dont make it too flashy otherwise you will be another victom of a stolen hatch.
you should of gotten the rsx type S swap. the crv block is not gonna hold the high reving of the k20 head. be carful with your rpms

my boy got an all motor k24ybrid runnin 11.9's all motor and its not done being built.... good luck with it...

it's a K20 head with a K24 block with mods, of course it rips.

yea i know, i just didnt feel like sayin all of that. i know you have the CRV block but which k20 head is that? a2 or a3?

and if it's gonna be on the road in a few days how about some runs sometime, I wanna see how it can hold against a spec. I havent seen those cars in action. i've just seen type R's, ls/vtec/gsr's in hatches. But your k20, not every hatch has that. Good choice. Any mods on the engine yet?

It's the a2. I've seen worked hybrids beat stock Evo's. Read bacon's post, and you'll see where I wanna be next year.

Hatch - $1800 + $200 (Replace and paint driver door)
Swap - $3500
Install - $0.00 but mad man hours on that shit.

Total = $5500.

I cant take you for a ride yet cuz my lic is suspended and the clutch has yet to be broken in.

The car might be driven to DPA this Friday to begin the break in process.

Ohh ok, so how the hell you gonna go to dpa if your license is suspended? lol

i'll give you a couple more weeks to finish your break in period, i wanna feel that top end lol.
