Being one dimensional can get you to the SB, just ask the Ravens. I think that team averaged around 16 points a game, if not less. But yes, you do have to be a total package like the Pats to be dominant.

I just hope that our defense can get back to 2009 levels.. We were very complete as a team that season on offense and defense. That's what took the Saints to the SB. But, without the defense, even the number 1 offense can't get you there.

I would give you that. You do need a balanced TEAM if you want to remain consistent as SB contenders like the Pats. A good run is one thing, but look at the Saints, Packers, Ravens... they had a good ONE year and act as if going back is guaranteed.

All in all, the Giants had better years than the ravens even though they didn't make the playoffs a few times.
