anyone ever been? im thinking about going to one of the places here in nyc. Speed Dating NYC - Speed Dating in Manhattan and the rest of New York is what i'm looking at. I just want to experience it not looking for love.

i wont go with that place though, they got some shit reviews. i got one of my boys to go with me too. i will post more as i get closer to actually doing it.

Very unorganized and not very enjoyable. I've done speed dating beofre (in LA) and thought it was a lot of fun - but this seemed like it was thrown together at the last minute by people who had nothing vested in ensuring a successful event. There are so many other services doing the same thing: find one that ensures an equal male to female ratio, that starts on time, that sends you your matches (or an email saying "sorry, you didn't match,") in a timely manner. (It's two days later and i've heard nothing.)

Ah, the ratio should also be 5 female to 1 male, then all you have to do is wait outside....lol...
