Thread: Saw a G37 in person

3 days ago i was by stonybrook university and i passed by a few dealerships which included infiniti. And as i was passing infiniti i saw what i thought was a g35 but it looked different. So i pulled over and to my suprise its the new G37. I dunno, doesnt look all that special in person, i personally like the previous one. BUt they put on some 20's on that bitch...

thats SICK.....right up my ally.....oooo an S version! Big fan of this car...saw it at the car show....first pic ive seen with concrete under it.

I've seen it on the road, it's not all that it's hyped up to be....looks just like a G35.

Well i dont blame Infiniti for not changing the styling too much. Why change something that made them millions of dollars, but instead just make some suddle "safe" changes. And even though styling is similar i doubt the powerplant is anything but. I hope the 350z gets that VQ37 aswell, but then the name would be ruined lol. 370z lol....

OK. well listen up i just test drove it.... it totally sucks...
overall i would give it a 7.5,but only based on looks and very little on performance,,,,

i drove the s type, 6 speed, interior is almost similar to the 07 altima...this car had VDC(traction control).. funny thing is, its not fast at all, 360 HP i think it is, and i dont even feel it, i bet u ash can beat this thing...i SLAMMED the gas pedal down, and jumped the clutch, revs dropped to 1.5, 2k, then slowly picked up to about 3k, then fully kicked in at about 4,5k... no power at start or the climb...wheels realy dont spin out that much due to this fact, but u can even jump the clutch off the line or anything, all the power is right at redline which is about 7k i think.... and by then u really cant run it fast if ur in city streets, its a high way, i woul dlike to have more power at low revs than high if u ask me...handling is great, wipped a right hand turn at 45MPH, and this thing STUCK to the ground, lemme tell u, the wheels didnt even skid...i heard the tires alone for this car cost like 200+.. and the brembo kit on it, really doesnt lock the wheels up, they dont even skid, u just hear i skid across the rotor and not the floor...like as if the brakes wanna freeze and lock up, but dont....

imo the g35 was a waaaaaaaaay better car...

i literally beat the shit outa this car, and didnt even feel like i was pushing it, it was maad slow.lol i didnt feel like i was driving 360hp

probably cuz its sooo heavy..full w/fancy shit...i wana test drive that 350z nismo! mmmmm that shit looks yummy!

g37 has dual intakes... how sick... each part costs like 600 bucks...
