depends on what youre going for.

If its all out performance, get a Z.

If you want a balance of performance and luxury with seating for more than 2 get a G35.

Stock for Stock, if you want performance, buy a Z.

well... I'm a family/friend person so I like and will be buying either the G35x 4 door and supercharging it or keep it grown man sexy and stay with the coupe and twin turbo it. hopefully this time next year I will buy it and have it done.

how does the auto tranny on the G35X hold up under all that power?

it would have been great if they came 6 speed!

I say go for the Z man. Every want 2 be so call baller is geting the G35. I like the Z cause it's has a lil smaller wheelbase . Like fullah said Z is all out performance , not to many pplz have the Z . remember the newer only have the revised VQ35DE , with dual throttle body .

the reason not too many people have Z's is because its not practical. I mean unless you are a single person, the Z sucks for daily commute.

You have room for one passenger, the trunk space is nearly non existant due to that huge ass support beam they got back there, the gas milage isnt exactly great at 25 MPG highway.

    The VQ35HR is available in the g37 . The g35 has a regular VQ35.

At the end of the day, if I could afford a weekend car, I'd buy a Z.

I dont know about the g37 but I do believe the g35x, which iis the AWD version never came in 6 speed, it was only available as auto.

g35 and the Z is the same thing. Just that the G35 is a little bit more luxury. But same engine. Like fullah said, if you want some comfort in your ride then go with the G, if you want a car that is more performance based then go with the Z.

well.... I just seen in person today the G35 S. yes S. its stands for sport. the older gentleman said it was 309hp. 6 spd manual, lsd and get this four wheel steering along with rear wheel drive. he bought it from new hampsire and if I could locate one of those I will get that. beautiful car and he had it fully loaded with every option availble. so.... I will be buying that. I'm sold on a G and not the Z. I'm just not a fan of it. I like the older twin turbo 300zx better.

Actually, theyre not the SAME exact thing. They are SIMILAR! At first I also thought they were the same exact car [minus the styling]. The wheel base is longer on the G35, the suspension is a lot softer than the Z [a lot of g35 guys get the stock 350z suspension as a cheap performance mod].
