Thread: WTB: Nismo catless header (will trade dc)

im sure i will have trouble finding this..but i want a nismo header catless.
i have a dc 4-2-1 (no cat in midpipe) and want something legal..my parents have been busting my balls and run ins with the cops are killing me so im trying to get a fully legal nice sound exhaust setup

I know megan racing isnt that great but there not terrible so i would consider theres for that price at least

dude, get the xs race package, i have it and its good..
a catless nismo header is NOT legal lol.. you must have a cat in it...
and you have a stock muffler with a header and no cats... thats why your disliking the exhaust note..

If i were u i would keep the dc package and just get a magnaflow cat for 50 bucks and have it welded in there for 40 bucks. Done and done.

Well he plans on putting ws2 on so i think just putting a cat would help. DC sports header and midpipe is top quality so i wouldnt get rid of it.

and seb. the catless nismo header is legal..as long as you have a cat in the midpipe. the reason its 'catless' is because it doesnt have that stupid pre-cat. someone correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure you only need one cat to be legal.

Well yes and no. I don't think you'll get in any trouble with anyone about not having pre cat. I think if u need warranty work then they would notice. But pre cat is usually what cause the problems.

by law if your car comes with two then it has to remain at two. emmision laws. if you remove the first one you throw check engine code therefore making it illegal. all headers are for off road use only buddy
but do the o2 spacer trick and yoru code goes away. you wouldnt need the cat if the code goes away. alls you need is a good muffler!

you are also not aloud to remove a working cat by law
