I was about to PM him then I realized I haven't even been to the track this year. Probably wont actually use it. They cost $89 new so I'm sure he'll negotiate within reason.

al i doubt they have a IX size your better off wearing a fire retardant quilt before looking for a jacket your size

Any way, other than these jackets and a helmet, what other safety equipment is required to race these days?

i thought it was a just a helmet...but jacket i guess

if your under a 11.50 meaning your car does 11.49 or better, u need a roll cage..

if your trap speed is 150 or higher you need a parachute

and im like 80% sure theres something with a fire extinguisher that goes with a certain time

ive never been to the track but i personally think that they should require you to have had your license a full year.

yea just a helmet if youre stock, but after market boost, or juice no matter what times u run u gotta have that jacket.

ehh..thats debatable ... a n/a at 150 yea.. about an 8...but idk about a turbo or tt.. my friends awd did 10.2 at 136 so if it wasnt all wheel drive his trap woulda been faster

and according to 2 of the mechanics at my shop it was sub 11.5 but they could easily be wrong


..but i doubt we'll ever see a 'useful' parachute on a sentra...unless ones dropped out of a plane

awd had the same time with a slower trap compared to the 2wd

what do you mean what? what part did u not understand of what i said?

all i said was if the car was fwd he would have had a worse 60ft than an awd car but still woulda had a higher trap... doesnt mean it woulda got down the track any faster though.
