Im not sure ill check the code exactly tommorrow. I said clear not clean lol
can u post better pics? is the sensor at the bottom of the car? or on top? thanks...im thinking of getting new headers..
so do you do this mod after converter? or on header? does it work? or should i relocate my sensor past the converter i installed? thanks
Not on the header, if you put a spacer on the header you will get wrong AFR and your car will not run right.
If your going to do it, put it on the one after the header.
i got O3 spec it has location for both on aftermarket header. it will not work on header?![]()
It will IIRC, but you have to remember that the important thing is the first (highest up) O2 sensor because this one tells the ecu how rich or lean to run.
You're making this sound more confusing and complicated than it is. Lol.
On your 03 spec, the after market header should have 2 holes on the header. The top one you plug in the first sensor, in the bottom one you space out the second sensor.
Not sure if that answers your question as the question didn't make much sense to me... Haha.

ok man just making sure, i just put 2.5in pipes catsco cat and 2.5in tip that cool? or this for OEM post cat using just a header?
Yeah, that works.
This o2 spacer trick will work in the event that you get an aftermarket header and remove the cat, or your per- cat (on OEM header) fails you. All this does is tricks the car into thinking nothing unusual is going on with the cat, and keeps the SES light from coming up.

I got a code P1147 and SES light on, and I`m running a aftermarket header w/o cat, will this help me to get rid of the SES light? I`ve cleared the code and it came back on a few days later.. just dont know whether it is a bad o2 sensor or because there is no cat...
i put in both spark plug non foulers on my bottom 02 sensor hole on my header and then reset the light ...light was gone, drove like 2 miles and it came back on
nvm

I did the same thing, use only 1 because the tip of the sensor is covered up by the end of the anti fouler and can't read the exhaust stream resulting in a P1273 code.
P1273 won't ever show up as the rear o2 but there is a Nissan service bulletin floating around that says the rear o2 can throw this code under certain circumstances.
I just got done dealing with this.
I have the same issue on my 06 spec and Im in the process of buying the megan mid pipe as I still have my stock mid pipe on with OBX headers/downpipe and borla catback. My question is if put on the anti fouler on and lets say that my o2 sensor is bad, will this still work and remove ses light? or will I have to replace my o2 with a new one and still put the antifouler on. (which is obvious that I have to install the antifouler lol)
FYI: I ran on this setup for about 6 to 8 months, then SES light finally turned on..

If the sensor is bad, you will get a code regardless. Spacers won't help.
When you say you have OBX header/downpipe, I assume you have the DC knockoff which deletes both cats. If you have a catback you should already have a full exhaust setup... unless you mean a Borla axleback.
so i used only one this time and and it still threw a code sfter i cleared it, im thinking about just covering up the hole on the anti fouler cause all the 02 sensor checks is catalyst efficiency so as long as it sees a lean signal i should be fine im just gonna block it n see what happends
Pull the code, that will help us determine the issue.
Here's how to do it without a scanner btw: OBD-II Codes List & Clearing Codes
think it was this one P0037 HO2S Heater Control Circuit Low (Bank 1 Sensor 2) scanned it at work this morning
