    Default what do i buy?

So suspension is not my forte, and I just blew out a front strut. when I took it to the shop they said they would have to put the oem struts and springs on. I know I can buy adjustable struts to fit my lowering springs, but I have no idea what to buy or where to buy them. Any advice please!

I don't know if it will help but I have a set of stock struts and springs with around 30k on them

Thanks but I still have my stock springs. I like my stance, and would like to keep it that way. That's why I'm looking for adjustable struts.

Check the stickied threads in the suspension category....All products and opinions are in there. I say go with 2jr's special with bc setup, but theres a lot of options

I already have my car lowered. But it was done by the guy who owned it before me so I do not know what kind of springs are on it. I just need to know where I can get adjustable struts so I don't have to go back to stock springs.

If your going to go with koni you might as well just buy coilovers. Koni is the only manufacturer of adjustable struts for our car.

Cool. Thanks aaron. I gotta get the struts cuz that's all I can afford. The cheapest coilovers I could find were like 1k for all 4 and I don't have that kind of money. The cheapest I found koni struts are like 190 a piece which still isn't great but better than a grand or more.

Agxs aren't made for our car and you can get the same coilovers as me for 730

Konis are around 500 for a set.

Tdmi (cheapest coilovers I know of) are 730 shipped now. Save up 200 more dollars and sell springs.

If you run lowering springs on a strut, they will die in less than 2 years (about 20months). Koni yellows included.

Bottom line, there are no strut options that can withstand lowering springs. I am waiting for my strut to die before I pick up a set of BC Racing coils.
