They're installed on the top bolt of the knuckle and it has a oblonged section where it pushes/pulls the top of the knuckle either in (negative camber) or out (positive camber).

All I did was type in "camber bolts" into the search bar and copy/pasted the first 5 relevant threads I found...

    forget these
    you appear lazy
so why not just oval out the top strut mount
change your camber and call it a day

w/o searching you will make few friends here

seriously, I had a question like this yesterday, typed in camber bolts into the search and found all the listed links and more. I also found my answer and more. like 2jr says knowledge is power. If it's one thing I've learned from my time here on this forum and from my VW friends: search read search read then search some more. If you truly can't find it by then or need clarification then people are more than willing to help you out. That being said I know I have a few redundant threads under my belt.

It's like in college if you go to the professor and ask a question that you clearly haven't put any effort into figuring out, they will scoff and make fun of you in intellectual ways all while not helping. Although if they can see that you have tried and need clarification or truly don't understand, they will help you.

    ok
if you already have coilovers [megan, BC or similar] they are already slotted
    use it

    note upper mount

i am not jerking you around
we have no adjustment for camber
camber bolts seem to fail way more often than slotted struts
that might be why the above manufacturers use it

I ran camber bolts for a year and a half before one of them broke... was kind of scary when they did. Otherwise, I have to say I did enjoy the added camber. Make sure you tighten the shit out of them so that there is no slippage.

I have BC's now, the camber from the slotted coils is pretty nice.
