what u guys use to take spray paint off headlights? I tried nail polish remover and it's still not coming off, idk if paint thinner will work cuz it might take the gloss out the lens so i'm not sure what to use.
Depending on how long it's been on there, you could use some soap and a clay bar, if not, a reallly light solvent to help separate the paint first, then a soap and clay bar.
If that doesn't work out, try a wet sand. All three ways work for overspray, so a headlight should not be too hard.
yea i used paint thinner and nothing, i think i have to wetsand it as i use it but i'm just about done tring to clean it up and then have dull headlights
just get some wet sand paper, 1200 it, 1500 then 2000 or 1200/2000 get it all dulled the fuck up.. prolly do both while ur at it.. find someone with a good buffer, get some compound and buff them, they will come out crystal clear. U can buff plastic it aint a big deal.
"BUFF THOSE THINGS HARDER, THE F*CKING THINGS ARE MADE TO STAND A LITTLE HEAT".
Hahaha.
Then they came out clear.
