could be because of how they had it strapped down, too. might not be any lower.

Not Sentra related, but it looks like I get to dust off my air conditioning skills this weekend, S' ac in the crv went out, know issue, the compressor self destructs and sends metal throughout the system. everything needs to be replaced, evap, dryer, condensor, compressor, expansion valve, lines, basically a full new system.

    work in progress...

Fuck that. Remove compressor, ac flush it, reinstall new compressor. Cant lie Ive never actually flushed an ac system. If you insist on replacing everything, dont you only have to do it up to the expansion valve? Not sure why Honda compressors are such shit. We do alot. It baaaaarely fits through the subframe from the bottom just fyi.

FYI; proper voltage for QG18 and QR25 for our gen is 14.1-14.7v

Just got it in. Everything's done now. Volt tested the battery at 14.4 running with hi-beams and blower on max.

Now I'm saving up to get the roof fixed up where the top windshield seal is busted, and have it resealed.

the car "runs and feels like new"
[uses, motul oil, brake, clutch and trans fluid too, iirc]

all the mechanical's have been taken care of

    note:
they did not find any loose turbo connections nor did they change any.

    [i'm just paranoid, but
there is now "much more room to get at things",
fans moved to the front, battery to the rear]

mostly resetting suspension, weight shift and alignment changes
    access clearance
    brake system, like new too
    and
the most conservative dyno tune ever
    [i lost 20hp]

    much "more enjoyable to drive"

    but exterior and interior
    look terrible

    i can't wait to play
    it was pretty good before

i wonder if lower car, means more stable at higher speeds
but i'm out of date at 330hp for roll ons
[and 40 ft lbs less tq]

    no A/C

    suspension set for slicks,
    like a track rat

    sounds like a track rat
    looks like a track rat

    with license plates

Got my 2018 stickers today. Tires should be here monday. Took 8 days to snail mail from Nevada lol. No worries though Ive been cruising in the beater.

Tuesday comes 2 new tires. Im going to take off the bump steer tie rods and try and rethread and grease them since they were almost frozen last time I tried to align it. And I will realign it and get the camber right again. I think the rf strut shifted during an AutoX event. I would do the rear end work too but work has been hard. After I finish my car which is hopefully by 11 or 12 Im going to hit the pool I think and just relax with a good swim and enjoy the day off.

    well, where do I start. . .

    *INHALES DEEPLY*

    - took her home on Monday, and brought home some fenders that will be cut up for my fiberglass fender project 😺

    - bought Mobil1 XP and an M1 XP filter for a temporary oil change. my Amsoil change was overdue by 2 months 😅 hoping to make the switch to Redline 5w30 and a new Wix or Bosch filter later on though.

    - changed oil on Wednesday, then went to Home Depot to pick up foam for my fiberglass project

    - installed some new wheels spacers from TDMimports on Thursday

. . .and also accidentally showed my face thanks to my shiny brake rotor 😅

    - also brought her out for a friendly cruise on Thursday night too.

    - spent the morning giving her a bath and cleaning off body shop dust from the interior, and drove her to work.

@yogi b, I can feel the twitchiness now with the 1/16" of toe-out 😅 lol. might go back to zero toe for daily driving and touge runs.

hoping to get started next week with carving up the foam and getting the outer shape for the fenders looking right 😸
