    fits stock and joe's mid pipe iirc

    i saw the wrapped one
    very different looking
    very cool

    power is less than the race header

    i think this is more about sound harmonics,
    fitment and quality construction

    this should last , lose that tinny sound
    and make a good bit more power than the Chinese knock offs

    the equal length runners can't hurt


    remember this is not available till spring

    I currently have DC 4-2-1 sports header and mid pipe that came with it and a Greddy Evo 2. So this header would not function with the DC mid pipe?
    Website does say "Will bolt to your factory or aftermarket exhaust." Which leads me to believe mid pipe is included.

    I wonder if this header would yield better gains compared to a HOTSHOT or Nismo header? And will we see any gains with stock cams, or is this designed specifically for bigger cams and high RPMs? Would this header work better with a B15 intake manifold or a 2J manifold? Any dyno numbers available yet? These are the questions.

    Doesn't include mid-pipe, would mean it would bolt to your stock mid pipe or OEM style aftermarket replacement mid pipe so either you can dig up your old OEM pipe or buy a new one with that header. Not sure how that doesn't make sense.

    I understand now, Thanks CrickiKaze! I'll probably order 2Js mid pipe also. Guess it was just me trying to avoid wasting more cash now on a mid pipe, will be worth it tho.

    the street header is for street lol
    no cams or other wild mods required



    i have not seen the dyno, but if you remember this design
    was also in the run to be the race header

    i think the hp will be good bit more than hotshot or dc
    [none of which are equal length nor is the nismo]

    the plenum tends to produce more low and midrange too
    and imo would be a good street match for this header
    but not required to see good gains

    Yes saw the cams, no thread on that yet. Going for the 2JR Street header, and 2JR mid pipe. Hopefully he can hold off on shipping the mid pipe together with the header on May 2015 once released.

    I wish I hadn't just replaced my entire exhaust this past summer. You can get header, mid, side exit for $650!!!! What a steal. Damn.

    Also let's point out you need the ACB. Don't forget to order that. I assume this, because there is one in the pictures. MAYBE you don't have to have it, but I bet you do and you should get one anyway.

    I would "ASSUME" this header makes At Least comparable power to those. If this wasn't the best "new" header you could buy (other than the race header), I doubt Joe would make it. We're cheap ass bastards. We wouldn't buy it if it wasn't significantly better than our other cheaper options or if it wasn't at least equal to our used (no longer manufactured) options. Its definitely gonna dramatically out perform all EBaY style headers. Way way better quality too and made in the USA

    Unfortunately only Joe knows at the moment and we can't ask him on Thanksgiving. We'll have to wait and see. But I would think at least equal. It definitely will sound good and it looks cool. Can only guess about power until dyno #s are posted. I'm "Guessing" better power than every header other than the 2j race header. Of course that's a guess and without dyno results its hard to say ditch your 4-2-1, but its pretty obviously gonna be better than any Megan style header. I would think better than a 4-2-1 as well, but that isn't based on anything really. Just my assumption Joe wouldn't manufacture it if it wasn't.

    Also......this header should be compared With A Midpipe if comparing it to a 4-2-1 for an honest comparison. And in that instance I think the 2j header will win hands down. The 2j header with a stock mid pipe will still very possibly out perform a 4-2-1. Just for an honest comparison there should be no stock mid pipes involved since a 4-2-1 replaces the stock midpipe
