I recently installed a Clutchmasters Stage 4 clutch (6-puck ceramic sprung hub) and initially the pedal height was the same as it was with the stock clutch. Now the pedal will not come up all the way and only gives me ~2-3 inches of resistance. The trans is shifting OK and the clutch is fully disengaging from the flywheel.
Why is my pedal not coming up? I've bled the brakes and it raised the pedal, but after 10 or so miles it was back down. The clutch fork has freeplay when the pedal isn't being pressed and I'm wondering if there could be a restriction in the line. The fluid I flushed was black and was probably the original crap they put in there at the factory.
I found this but I don't know how to adjust the hydro clutch like they're suggesting:
"My clutch pedal sticks to the floor when I speed shift
Your clutch is overcentering. You need to reduce the cable pull so the clutch pedal will only pull enough cable to just disengage the clutch. Likewise on hydraulic clutches, you may have to adjust the clutch cylinder staging at the pedal to limit its engagement."
Any help is appreciated.
(Something to note is that this low pedal condition happened to me once before with the stock clutch, but the pedal came back up after about 15 miles)

I had this problem, i fixed it by replacing the clutchline with a ss line, it was giving under heat. Yours however could be the master or slave cylinder is weak, or it could be the clutch line as well.
Built HQR25DET running on a MS2 and a whole lot of other goodies
if you dont notice any leaks, id go for an ss line first. but i could be wrong.

If nothing else works, check the clutch throw-out bearing.
or the tiny pivot spring on the fork had that happen on a customer's car
