    Default ebay clutches

Anyone ever drive or hear of anything about the ebay clutches such as f1, xdt or any of the other cheaper ones. I know a clutch is nothing to go cheap on but just dont have the money to spend 400+ on one.

why not go stock? the stock one is probably better quality than those cheap ones.

i had one in my old crx si with a built b20vtec swap and it was great. it was a xtd 6 puck clutch with springs. nvr had one problem out of it. you just got to resurface the flywheel and do the job right

Just so you guys know, F1 racing clutches are just stock replacement LUK disc and pressure plate. I ordered the lightweight flywheel/clutch kit from them and all the part numbers are the same as what were already in the car. Was supposedly the "stage 1", but whatever, its still cheaper than buying the same part at the local parts store so im not complaining too much. Ironically the stage 1 advertised kit was a few bucks cheaper than the "stock" kit although its the same part.

And if you change the flywheel yourself, make sure you have the TP50 and TP55 bits even if your car is a pre-2004. My car had the size 55 bolts even though its a 2003.
