^^ yes but the thing about people saying stage 2 or 3 is ok for street is either because thats what they read or thats what they have...suppose 1 guy said stage 3 is fine for the dd... then i order it and install it and i hate it...so thats why im just going with a stage 1 ...like oem but a tad better and keeping the oem fly

Stages are for ricers. It's all about clamping force.

Yes, but i don't think we're all gonna start listing the clamping force and friction materials used in each clutch we're talking about. Rather than saying i have a full face/segmented kevlar disc w/ 150% increase in clamping force, it's much easier to say i gotta CC Stage 3...

Back to the OP, it's still gonna be a matter of personal opinion no matter WHO you asked, whether they've used it or not. I've driven classic muscle cars with RIDICULOUS clutches so it's hard for me to even feel the little bit of difference on our hydraulic setup. My opinion is that as long as its not an on/off switch, then its something you WILL get use to.

P.S... the stock fly HAS to be gone.. that thing is like a 30lb plate with too many mechanical moving parts that are just asking for failure IMO

"I think we need to do a little street racing 101 and understand that, you know... as a general courtesy you should, uh, floor your car an additional 100mph over the speed in which you start. It's just like the, uh, '100mph courtesy'... You start at 60, you don't let off 'til 160. You start at 30, you AT LEAST go to 130. And attempting to, uh, run like Houston interstates with traffic directly in front of you... These 60 to 80 pulls; these 60 to 95mph pulls... What the fuck is that shit about?" -IMV Films

lets see, their are some hard core guys on this site that will cut you no slack but they know what their talking about
pat for one, he says jwt

white spec seems to have a bit of a bite in his car, we seem to see it on the strip a lot, he says jwt

there are guys on this site
who have never had a street strip motor last more than 50,000 miles
who have hundreds of strip runs, launching at outrageous rpms
who have broken about everything, one can break at the track
    like me,
yet i couldn't break my jwt

let me see the the clutches on vid that will stand this type of launch on slicks 200 times and come back for more
    the launch - YouTube
i dd, its a hydraulic clutch for gods sake their are no stiff clutches here

just to pound the nail in
    jwl's 11.9 et, done on a jwt

    nuff said?

you sound just like me, i fought travis tooth and nail to avoid the 16lb flywheel that will come for your maxima [lt wt flywheels are not for the street, don't last and throw bolts, it's all wrong today]
    boy did i feel foolish.
    it's not 1963 anymore lol
jwt has this worked out, it's great on the street and a solid lockup at the strip

its too bad your so far from us, trying this out would change your mind in a minute

    ^^^this
I launched mine at 6k and it grabbed every time, and it was my dd at the time. My wife drove it too and says she liked it better than my act in my altima.

god after all the stuff, the group of us have broken
and still we can't communicate what works

    other clutches may be great
but the list of jwt users and abusers
who love this clutch is immense
the neg reviews are very few and usually involve the sentra clutch disk rather than the 350 disk
    btw
jwt has been one of the major contributers of performance parts for the b15
they have designed cams and ecu reflashes for me
their help was responsible in allowing Travis to beat the 2008 hp standard for na vq35de's [about 280-285hp] by more than 20hp
people on maxima.org were complaining, "it's not possible", till the drag videos went up
    it became the new standard

    And a great seller.
