hey everyone, i found a good deal on a 5 speed transmission for my car (2001 SE 2.0) its from a 91 so its a cable i believe, I'm trying to figure out what ill need to complete the swap.
transmission, flywheel, clutch, clutch pedal, center console, axles maybe?
any help would be GREATLY appreciated. thank you!
Are you going from auto to manual?
Most of the B13 5spd trannies suck. They almost all have a 5th gear pop out issue.
Rumor has it, you can swap a specv 6 speed to a SR motor... Might be something better to look into.
You will definitely need axles, a pedal, shift linkage, and then the clutch and flywheel, not sure if there would need to be anything special there. Maybe a center console, but it should fit fine with what you have, you just may need to replace the shift boot part.

yes its a rebuilt b13 trans, he put new gear stacks from a b15 in it to fix the 5th gear pop out. i would love to put a 6spd in, this trans is 200, so its a decent deal, I'm not sure what the going rate for a 6spd swap is tho. and do you have any idea where i could get the axles, pedal, shift linkage, clutch and flywheel? no junk yards ive already checked the surrounding areas lol
yes sorry, A/T to M/T

or eBay. When searching ebay, you can't be too specific. Just search "Sentra axle", and weed through the stuff and see what you can find. Lol

alright haha thanks. ill get to shoppin i guess
A B13 SR trans doesn't bolt into a B15 SE chassis. The trans mounting points are totally different. Also, that trans has a cable actuated clutch fork, whereas the B15 SE has a hydraulic setup. So, you will need to switch to cable style, and make your own trans mount.
ya i figured that much lol
