HI! i own a 2003 nissan spec-v 2.5 Six Speed. the car was completly stocked just bought an istalled an megan header an megan exhoust system. the car ran ok but when i put the pedal to the floor it does not respond like it should. i put it thru the scanner an it only shows error with the o2 sensor im guessing because of the header. they reseted the ecu and car ran awsome like new an verry powerfull and its doing it again, if i put the pedal to the floor it dies can anyone help????
space out the second 02 sensor.. so u wont throw that code.. go from there
HI i did spaced out the 2nd 02 sensor i did the spark plugs non fouler convertion and SES light still on an the car is still giving me the same prob.
whats the exact code you are getting?
Jones & Wuk-Up
Double up on the spacers.
Had SAME problem, turned out to be a dead MAF.
im getting a P0037 code. it says oxygen sensor heater control circuit low- bank 1 sensor 2 (H02S12)
you have to use both of the non foulers and have to drill out the one that the o2 goes into and then after you have it back in place you have to have the code cleared should take care of the issue
thanks 2 everyone for your quick responses, thought the problem was due the header and axhaust system installation... but it was due to a pair of L.E.D light bulbs i installed on the cars stop lights, i noticed that the spoiler stop light was always on istead of just going on when u applied the brakes so i took them off light when off car ran great. stupid huh... i guess they cause some kind of error on the cars ecu that when the cars light where on it didnt allow it to go to top speed. thank everyone.
