everyone for some reason thinks cipher wont work on early model specs but it works perfectly and has a lot of functions that consult can do and then some
i wanna know how he has a 02-03 Spec with NO rev limit![]()

My worry is using cipher with flash it back to stock though.

8k. Not on purpose though. I don't rev it that high usually but it happens at the track. Still going strong on the
Bottom end.
It's a long story with TS. I was their test ecu for an 02 way back in 05 I think. They were working on a flash and it ended up getting like 2 whp.
A few years after I send them an email about the whole situation and asked about a rev limiter raise to 7200 which they did for free because of the hassle from before. Well lo and behold they didn't put one on it.
I don't want to lose that flash to datalog.

cipher doesnt flash so you dont need to worry about it

the learned fuel trims is the correction that the car is self learning from the primary O2 sensor. you can reset it by leaving the battery off or any of the other tricks but cipher makes it easy and you can up your idle and change the base ign timing map all without losing your tuned ecu
