You don't know my personality, or anything about me. Most noobs are clueless, so I was just giving some insight. Sorry I didn't know you were the php forum god, post your resume next time.

Ok I will help you out assuming you are going to calm down a little bit. Sammy tells EVERY new person that joins the forum the same thing he told you about the search function. There are a ton of people who start asking questions that have been beat to death. That is why he made the how-to search thread.

Now as for your unconnected hose, it connects to the gold bracket on top of the throttle body. There are to hoses, one loops under and connects to the upper manifold and the other is the one you are asking about. Look for the plug for the throttle body and it is right behind that. I would post a picture but I still don't know how and I am too lazy to learn right now. Hope that helps.

Chill dude, it's nothing personal. We don't know you, you don't know us. It's just some helpful information, if you don't need it, say thanks and move on. Seriously wtf?

Sounds like a fucking cry baby if you are the php forum god and read every where you could of then you missed the stickies which has the fsm which would of showed you what you were looking for but as swirl said that's all you need to solve your problem and with your attitude good luck with any other problems that out of nowhere creep up on you

So the problem is with you and your gonna get a shitty response everytime and you think I don't know shit about what im talking about yeah your right even though I built my spec and troubleshooted with the help of the great people on this site so you can GO FUCK YOURSELF and before you say it no you wont knock me in the dirt like you told Sammy and since your so bad ass I live in san antonio come on down

Look Im flattered but I dont know where you guys got this forum god nonsense at but its unnecessary! Thanks though!! All I ever said was that I know how to search and that I did search. Maybe we did get off on the wrong foot but Im tired of seeing legit questions go unanswered just because the first few posters say to search. I would hope there would be some slight tolerance in the section of the forum that is described as a place to go if you cant figure something out. Ill admit I have an attitude problem.

Wow really in post 3 Sammy told you where to go and you gave him shit and if that didn't work then you need to do some more research like the fsm I know you don't have a pc don't you have a friend that has one or your public library

Nothing you just said makes sense. Some of you guys need to learn how to read. When I said you dont know what youre talking about I meant you had no clue that I looked for the fsm. Thanks for proving me right so quickly though, its gotta be a speed record. Why would you, keep letting me, make you waste time on me and my posts? Have at it for all I care.

I understand that now but the laughing and remarks about having to wait around for answers, when Ive been researching for hours already, didnt help out my frustration. Thats why I went on the defensive. My bad.

Ok ill try to help you look a member told you where it hooks up but I almost bet it got unhooked from whom ever sold it to you probably because the evap canister is bad so rehook the hose up clear the code and see how the car runs if it runs bad then id say the canister is bad and needs to be replaced they probably took the hose off so the car runs good to make the sale

I probably do sound like a crybaby to some of you but if you just dished out some cash for a cherry spec and on the way home it throws a light, youd probably be pretty frustrated already as well. Like I said sorry for the attitude but I felt attitude was given.

The nipple on the piece was plastic and it was broken off flush. Thats why it wasnt connected & thats why I couldnt find it. Thanks a ton for the quick help.

So we're you able to hook it up now? And unplug the battery overnight if you did and let us know if the code comes back.

You didn't state that at first glad you found the problem don't know if you can just replace the nipple or you need a new hose hope its the latter but that will definitely cause the code you have don't worry man we know your frustration when I first bought my spec less than 50 miles and I started getting codes but I had to rebuild the motor from the butterfly screws make sure you locktite those butterflys and get rid of the cat they will kill the motor

Ya there are alot of lame forums out there that just give lame replies. Collectively this forum has the best knowledge base and helpful members. That trick with the valve does work great. Congrats on your new car. When you get a chance look at the vast database of tips tricks and tech info.

The small plastic nipple was completely broken off and unlocatable, so there was no way to reconnect it. My friend is coming into town & he has a donor spec in his garage. As soon as I get the replacement and hook up the evap hose, Ill disconnect the battery over night to give the ecu sufficient time to reset. If that solves the S.E.S. light Ill let you guys know. Thanks again.

I guess I kinda got lucky because I found my car with 94000 miles so I still have a good chance to correct those known problems.
