04 and up has a different connector and set up, the same reason 02-03 can't use uprev is probly the same reason the 04 and up an't use this but this is all assuming and I'm just reading in between the lines

so does the 04's and up use consult 3? that's the main question... cause if so i'm working on getting a copy of that working, and then to figure out a solution to a compatible cable. some gtr guys on another forum almost figured it out, but dropped the ball as far as i know... they stopped posting a year ago...

EDIT: Nevermind, Consult III is apparently for 2007 and up vehicles. fml. and I cant find a regular consult III without the plus upgrade. And nobody has modified that to work without it being on a Toughbook yet.
