Default Uprev Cipher and Innovate LC-1 logging

I asked how to log using an LC-1 with Cypher, and this is what I received from the people at Uprev:

Subject: Re: Cypher and Innovate LC-1 You have to use the ROM editor to log external wide bands. Download and install the Osiris Tuner installer from our website to get the ROM editor.Even though you will not be able to open, edit, or flash a ROM from the ROM editor you will still be able to use the logging features.

Don't be so quick to "Thank" my post...lol

I haven't tried this yet. I assume that you have to hook up the LC-1 and cypher cable up to the laptop and the ROM editor software will recognize the LC-1.

I've had a few questions about this, so I figured I would update this thread to make things a little more clear.
    1. Download Osirus tuner from www.uprev.com.
    2. Connect your Cypher cable and your LC1 cable to your laptop with your car running.
    3. Now open up the ROM editor. Here is what you will see:

    4. Click on Logging and tracking. This is what you will see now:
    Name: ROM editor2.jpg

Size: 76.8 KB
5.Click on External sensors, then configure and pick the port that the LC1 is connected to on your laptop. Then click External sensors again, then Connect. This is what you will see now:
    Name: ROM editor3.jpg

As you can see, now the LC1 logging functions are now available on the right hand side for logging.

    Enjoy!

Just did this. MAKE SURE you don't open LogWorks (LC-1 software) OR the Cipher software as one (maybe both) did not allow the Rom editor to pick up my ecu. Once I closed both then opened the ROM editor it worked.

Actually, you can't open more than 1 of ANY of the Uprev programs, be it the cable manager, osiris, rom editor or Cipher for that matter. The cable will only interface with one program at a time.
