Thread: Clearing the Air: UpRev Cipher

For some reason there's been a lot of confusion lately if UpRev's product Cipher will work on their 02-03 Spec V and the truth is, Yes.

I highly recommend this software for anyone who is looking into datalogging or even doing work on their car. This product, IMHO, has been one of the best tools i ever bought to work on my car.

List some things that will work on all 2002+ Spec V's
Target Idle RPM
+/- 2 degree static timing adjustment
Cylinder power testing
Clear Learned Fuel settings (Great for an AFC. Just reset the learned fuel trims and tune. Once you notice tune drift just reset it and it'll be spot on once again)
Fuel Pressure purge
Coolant Test
Datalogging of anything with a sensor

How was there ever any confusion about Cipher not working on a 02-03 when people have been using it on 02-03s for a decent amount of time now.. God people really are fucking retarded..

just because UpRev was mentioned they think itll only work on 04-06

Interesting because I thought it only worked for 04-06. People poisoned me.
