    Default Idle Raise question

I have an 03 SPEC with the older 02-03 style ECU and I would like to raise my idle speed a bit without having to pay the stealership $115 for a 5 second job. LOL. Is the CONSULT II the only way to raise idle speed? I've heard a rumor that the Osiris program from UPREV can be used to adjust the idle speed on the older 02-03 ECU, is this true? If you guys have info on this, let me know. I will pay Nissan the $115 if I have to, I am just looking for other options if there are any available. $115 is quite a bit for a 5 second job. Anyway, thanks in advance guys!!

The consult is part of the uprev tuner package, or something to that effect. I have to look it up on their website to get the facts straight, but uprev is not what allows you to raise idle, it's consult. Uprev is not compatable with 02-03.

Try and see if anyone local you has consult II, check the regional section. Or try a different dealer, or try and befriend someone working as a tech, or straight up tell the tech I'll give you $20 if you do this for me. Lol.

Someone with Cipher could raise it for you, or just buy it yourself, it's $200 through UpRev and has a ton of other useful funcitons (datalogging, diagnostic tools, etc.)

@thesammythecurse. Yeah, I managed to talk the service rep at the stealership into raising it for me for $50. LOL. Not exactly what I had in mind. But, I guess it's better than $115.

@MisterNuts, That is exactly what I wanted to know. I have a buddy with an 06 who is using the program from UPREV and he can adjust his idle using his laptop. Are you saying that it is possible to plug his laptop into my car with an 02-03 ECU and adjust my idle, as long as he has a cipher cable? I've heard somebody say that this can be done. But, I just wanted to make sure.

Yes, I've done it for my neighbor and a buddy who both have 02's. Works great.
