Yesterday i cleaned out my throttle body with intake/throttle cleaner. The Car was turn off while i was doing it. After i the cleaning i put everything back to together. Then i started the car up and it started to idle above 1000 RPM.Then i SES light came on. I dont know what to do. I cleared the code and after awhile it comes back on. The code reads high RPM. I ask some techs and they said to take the car back to the dealer so they can flash the computer..Im wondering if the would set everything back to normal? Others say i have to replace the throttle body, Because the sensor went bad. I dont know. I have a strong feeling that the best thing to do is take it back to the dealer and have the computer re-flash. Any suggestion anyone>>>???:?: I get cold start alot of times. My car struggle to start sometimes anyone know what problem that can be? I only got 32k miles on the car
high rpm?? go to autozone and get a proper code. i never heard of a high rpm code... codes usually show sensors...
and as far as the starting, turn the ignition on wait a few seconds, then start, gotta let the pump prime the lines with fuel.

when u clean the throttle body from previous things ive read arent u supposed to use a special cleaner cause the throttle body has electronic compents in it i may be wrong but im almost sure ive read it somewhere
what kind of throttle body cleaner was this ??
also did u disconnect the battery if u were messin with any electronic maybe possibly might need to do a relearn
i think what hes tring to say, is the code is rpms higher then expected, sort of the same thing that happend with coderedspecv.
1. It's not a good i dea to spray the throttle cleaner in the TB for the qr's
2. Manually reset the ses engine light
3. Do a idle relearn, and let it idle for 2mins without touching the gas pedal.
4. Turn car off
5. Take out the engine 1 and engine 2 fuses out for 10mins then put fuses back in. (located behind the coin tray) they are both 10amp fuses.
6.Problem solved.
im not sure if his car is a qr....

it says it on the left side under his user name![]()
yes, manually clear the ses light it's on the how to's. so is the idle relearn.
do it step by step like i mentioned and you'll be good.
What i explaining to u is the same as a reflash, it resets the ecu map/fuel trims back to normal.
yes remove both fuses when the car is off.
Reminder** this only works with SER/specv's, only QR25motors
other cars have other ways...
start with the idle re-learn. what prolly happened was, the car was off, u opened the tb by hand and sprayed some tb cleaner in there, which threw off the tps a little. nothing major to worry bout
and just for future reference, because your car has an electronic throttle body, next time disconnect the battery first.

haha i have no idea what the idle relearn consists of, cause my car is old and i dont have drive by wire lol.
Jones & Wuk-Up
lol, Those step should fix the problem though right?
all steps here.. i never had read how to do the idle relearn, cause it has no use to me. well the g but that shit got warranty. but this should be it.
