    Default Wideband Question

Ok so i just installed my treadstone turbo kit and the bung on the downpipe for the wideband is too close to the fans. the fans will actually hit the end of the sensor. My question is, if i put the wideband sensor in my front tube (the tube just after the downpipe) will my AFR be inaccurate? Thanks for any help!

so according to that, it can be as far as possible as long as its before the air would go thru a cat

You can place the wideband anywhere on the exhaust as long as there is nothing changing the AFR after the exhaust get's out of the motor [ie...cat...exhaust leak]. So it's probably best to place it on the downpipe itself, but putting it the midpipe would be fine as long as there is nothing affecting the AFR beforehand

Dan is right. Put it anywhere that has a straight flow from the turbo. No cat or leak before sensor and you'll have a great reading. Mines on the midpipe.
