Ok so i just installed my treadstone turbo kit and the bung on the downpipe for the wideband is too close to the fans. the fans will actually hit the end of the sensor. My question is, if i put the wideband sensor in my front tube (the tube just after the downpipe) will my AFR be inaccurate? Thanks for any help!
2k4spec;u ship my shit?
blk03specv; you ship my shit????
2k4spec;LOL ignore that, mixed u up with another black guy
blk03specv; lol but im not black?? lol.. i assume you mean my car haa
2k4spec;yea lol
so according to that, it can be as far as possible as long as its before the air would go thru a cat
u can put it on the midpipe if u please and plug up the dp bung
You can place the wideband anywhere on the exhaust as long as there is nothing changing the AFR after the exhaust get's out of the motor [ie...cat...exhaust leak]. So it's probably best to place it on the downpipe itself, but putting it the midpipe would be fine as long as there is nothing affecting the AFR beforehand

ohh shit you went turbo again?
Dan is right. Put it anywhere that has a straight flow from the turbo. No cat or leak before sensor and you'll have a great reading. Mines on the midpipe.
ok thanks alot. Ya I'm turbo again. Not gonna let a little fire spoil my fun!!!!
did u reuse all the stufff you had in the fireball?
actually i bought everything to rebuild the whole kit but sold it and bought a brand new one. the kid i sold the kit to installed it and got 281WHp and 267Tq
