Thread: Oil change vs. Oil Flush

Wats up Sentra crew!!!? I believe I need to get my oil changed but I had a couple of questions that ya can help me out with.
1. How often do you need to get an oil change?
2. How much do an oil change cost?
3. What does it mean to flush out your system?
4. which is better: a flush or an oil change?

oil change depends on how you drive your car and what kind of oil u use...

if you are using regular non synthetic oil around ever 3000 miles
synthetic can last up to 5000 miles

oil change prices vary, i get mine done at the car wash for 30 bucks regular oil, top off all fluids and all that other stuff, and i get a free car wash at the end of it.

flushing the system is draining the oil, and pouring a quart of oil or two through the motor while the oil pan plug is still removed.

realisticly flushing might be better or it may not be its debateable... i wouldnt waste my time or the oil.

do like the honda kid did and pour water in your oil tank to flush it... JOKING..

just do oil changes, you really need to flush it only if you dont change your oil every 3k.. say for example like every 20k LOL
typical price for an oil change at autozone is 15 dollars DIY.. or 29.95 at shops, some shops have s[pecials for 19.95
