Thread: Datalogging

So i pretty much know absolutely nothing about datalogging. So i guess my first question is, where the hell do i even start??

first...get a something that can datalog lol...

If you want to log your AFR vs. RPM you'll need a wideband setup that can log like the Zeitronix or Innovate w/ SSI-4.

and a laptop

You will also need a serial to usb adaptor and this is where i had problems, get the one from best buy, this is the one I used and it works, I tried many other ones I have around the house for phone system programming but none of them worked but the one from best buy did.

When i got my ssi i figured my adapters would work but they did not thats why i did not buy one from them.

what's the point of datalogging if you have no idea what it is ?
