hey guys i havn't posted in a while so I thought I would update you about my work on the old to new style ecu swap. Got the 06 Spec ECU with support added to uprev, 06 harness and cluster are in the mail to my house. With any luck I can start swapping over in a few weeks and work on a how to for any 02-03 guys interested in swapping to get uprev.
^-- nice!
Anyone ever test it on a qg18de?
Any updates? I have an 03 alti for which I'm desperately searching the best way to tune. Was there any success in swapping ecus? I might just go AFC neo.. The hassle to get uprev into an 02-03 is ridiculous.

hey guys im interested in using uprev real soon!! Any shop close to me charges way to much to tune for me! sooo i looked on there website and it shows 3 stages of buying uprev. The most expensive is for 700 but i get everything to tune my car correct?? if its true how easy would it be for myself to tune it??

so am i safe buying an uprev tuner used? i'm ballin' on a budget here, as they say, and seven hundred bucks is a lot of money to me. does anyone sell new ones cheaper? a google search didn't turn up anything cheaper than $699 that's an actual tuner- just the less awesome versions that don't allow as many tuning options.
you could buy it used, but the thing is, you have to make sure the cipher cable is unmarried from the ecu.
honestly, just buy it new from uprev's website. if you get it used, you'll have to contact uprev anyway to get the altima/sentra/versa version of osiris, and the correct rom file for your ecu.
uprev is 720$ shipped from their website.
There is someone selling it for $620 in allsentra new.
HOW TO USE THE B15U.COM SEARCH!

not for an 02? uprev?
I had no idea uprev was in Austin, I'm only an hour away.
I asked Siri "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck?" She said "It depends if it's European wood, or African wood."

It seems as soon as I enter the real time tuning in cipher, then exit, the car virtually dies. a couple of squirts on the throttle, and its virtually dead. it still idles fine tho. i'll ring uprev in the morning.
Scrap that. RTT through the ROM editor works fine.
Does anyone know how to increase the range of the base fuel schedule axis in the fuel compensation chart?? I can't adjust the figure higher than 255
The issue I'm having is the white tracer when in Rtt mode just goes flying off the chart.
Dave.
First, are you using a stock MAF? what kind of boost are you running? I am running a PMASS MAF so I have abit more head room but I never go over the 224 mark on the fuel sompensation table and I am running a decient amount of boost. I am pretty sure the stock 04+ MAF will run up to about 14 psi dependant on the turbo being used.
I'm using wrx 440cc injectors and the uprev gt maf.
The process we've used is:
install the gt maf.
select gt maf type.
setup a test afr target map to scale in k fuel multiplier
From here, do I then have to scale the maf in using the maf table? Or can we go straight to the fuel compensation table?
i'm taking a guess here, but if we goto the fuel compensation and the tracer still flies off the screen, we then use the formula: k value x 1.2(120%) and maf table times 0.8(80%)?
