    Default FS: shortcut10s 03 Blackout Spec (CT,NY,MASS)

So it's been great having my '03 Spec-V unfortunately I need something a bit more family oriented with the addition of my son who was born November 28th, I have been looking into Altimas and Rogues (seeing as how I am a Nissan Employee) but for the most part a lot of you know it already but for those of you who do not here's WHEN I FIRST GOT A HOLD OF IT IN 09(the CURRENT pics of the car are at the end of the post for those of you who are too lazy to read)Name: First Day.jpg
Views: 461
Size: 55.2 KB<^<^That's what it looked like the first day I got it just to show you how far it's come along and the time money and effort I put in since I've owned it.
130K on the clock New OEM Headgasket and a complete teardown and cleaning, of the block, upper oil pan, cylinder head, and other components, put in less than 5K ago, the engine is a Factory Nissan Reman put in at Nissan under warranty with a copy of the Work order it was put in at 86K been running perfectly strong since, cat has not been on the motor since day 1, the car looks beautiful when detailed properly of course as you see from the pics, it has been street parked in NYC so it has it's minor dings and few scratches on the trunk, and a few scrapes on the rear bumper but nothing too major especially for a car that's Daily Driven, The front bumper is Riddled with rock chips, and a small crack which you can't see because it's behind the license plate. All the splash shields are in place so all in all I've had the car for over 3 years the pics are very recent from the last B15U annual BBQ so that's why it looks so clean but a little elbow grease and it'll shine again just haven't had time with the baby. So other than that I will go on to the Mod List, then the things that need to be addressed.

    Mod/New Parts List:
    Tien S-Tech Springs
KYB GR-2 Front Struts (put factory shocks back in the rear for a softer ride for my son in the back)
Brembo Front Rotors(OEM STYLE Not drilled or slotted) - not even 3K ago
OEM Front Pads - not even 3K ago
Innovate LC-1 (all the wires are routed into the cabin the Lambda Controller is already mounted just never had time to hook up due to baby)
Apex-I SAFC-II (already mounted and wires routed no time to hook up due to baby)
    Nismo CAI
    DC Headers 4-2-1
    Stainless Magnaflow High-Flow
    Megan Cat-Back with Apex-I WS2 Muffler
The entire Engine has New Gaskets from the Teardown during the Headgasket Repair
    Poly Sway Bar Bushings,
Sway Bar Links done 2 Years Ago
Tie Rod Ends done 2 Years Ago
1/2 of the Wheel Hop Washer Mod (it just seems to work better that way on my car)
    Rev-Auto Torque Damper
    Oil Catch Can
Greddy Carbon Kevlar Diversion Panel (no longer being made, supposedly I got the last kevlar one directly from Greddy)
    Poly Radiator Bushings
    8K HIDs in the Headlights
3K HIDs in the Foglights (RH Ballast Needs Replacing)
Benen Tow Hook (Mounted Properly in the Front to the Re-Bar)
Re-Painted the Grill and has New Clips to hold the Grill in place I have spares too which you will get with the car
Carbon Fiber Nismo Lip(Supposedly the last one made in CF)
VIS Carbon Fiber Hood in Near Mint Condition (I love this thing)
Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel (about 25K on it)
Clutchmaster FX100 Clutch (about 25K on it)
Polished Black Aluminum Nismo Shift Knob
    New Heater Control Unit
JVC CD/MP3 Radio with an Aux-In (relocated to lower deck)
Timing Advance and Idle Raise done by me with Consult-II
New AC-Delco Battery a Year ago
    New Alternator a Year ago
New OEM Battery Terminal 6 months ago
04-06 Wheels Painted Nissan Color Code:K50 Dark Slate
    Nismo Neck Rests
    Nismo Floor Mats

There's probably a couple more things but I forgot them
The car has had religous Oil Changes every 1500-2000 miles with OEM Filter and drain plug gasket and BG MOA Oil and Fuel additive (which I stand by after tearing down the engine and seeing how spotless it was) (and as far ass the oil change intervals... why not when they're free) THIS CAR DOES NOT BURN A DROP OF ANY OIL, FLUID, OR LUBRICANT and the MTF has been changed religously every 15k With Nissan OEM Fluid. STILL GETS ABOUT 28 MPGs if driven normally and not beat on and Runs Low 14s in the 1/4mile (I've got it to over 300 miles on 10 gals on numerous occasions)

    Now for the Bad LMFAO:
Lower oil pan is wet because of a broken bolt when putting it back on after the Headgasket was done the bolt is easy access and just needs to be tapped and replaced, but no loss in oil (I've checked numerous times because I'm anal about shit like that and I have the Bolt but haven't had time to fix it because of the Baby)

Wheels need to be repainted IMO I don't like how they came out

The Power Steering Pressure Line is wet But I haven't noticed any fluid loss for the past year it's been that way I think it's just the banjo bolt and copper washer that needs to be changed

Rear tires are a little choppy but not really noticable and they have plenty of tread on them

Might Need Rear Brakes soon they are about 5mm

Now for the Extras you'll get
not much but obviously a few spare parts or parts I just never had time to put in
    RH sideview Mirror
Brand New Inner Tie Rod End (Nissan shipped us extra stock and I just kept it)
all sorts of the Nissan OEM misc. clips
a VQ TB and Plenum Works mint I took it off myself from an Oil Burning Warranty '03 Maxima Motor
the STOCK HOOD I know a lot of people get rid of the stock hood or try to sell it But I kept mine because it's better off that way, it's got a ton of rock chips which is the main reason I went with the Carbon Fiber Hood
and also a Spare Cone filter the Nismo one which originally came with the intake but needs to be cleaned
Maybe even a few more parts that I can't think of at the moment but that's it for now

Long Post Yes I know... so The car is located in Meriden, CT and can be seen during the day at my job in North Haven, you can call me to see the car at (917)306-5261, would prefer text but just leave a messege if I don't answer because I do work during the day, and take care of my newborn son at night. Here is what I want $6500 FIRM you can try to talk me down but with my Son on my mind chances are you won't because I know the love this car has recieved and since it's also my only Daily I can weigh my options really quick and consider I haven't had problems with it so I don't mind keeping the car

    Here's My Terms and Conditions:
THE CAR IS NOW OFFICIALLY FOR SALE I HAVE RECIEVED THE LIEN FULLFILMENT LETTER FROM THE BANK TO ACCOMPANY THE TITLE FOR THE NEW OWNER, THIS CAR WILL NOT BE PARTED OUT SO DON'T EVEN BOTHER BRINGING IT UP
I RETAIN THE RIGHT TO CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT SELLING THE VEHICLE AND WILL REQUEST THIS THREAD CLOSED UPON DOING SO
NO JOY RIDES, SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY
PEOPLE WILL BE ALLOWED TO TEST DRIVE UNDER MY DISCRETION ONLY

Call me a Prick after reading this but I would like to make sure the car goes to a person that will care for it as much as I did.

UPDATE: POTENTIAL BUYER CAME TO SEE THE CAR, JUST PUT IN NEW FRONT TIRES, Nexen N3000s AND I EVEN DECIDED TO GET BRAND NEW MMIs AND THOSE WERE INSTALLED SAME TIME AS THE TIRES, ALSO HAD A P0303 CODE SHOW UP THIS MORNING, WHICH WE DIAGNOSED THIS MORNING AT THE DEALERSHIP, AND I INSTALLED A NEW OEM IGNITION COIL DURING LUNCH
So I'll keep updating because it is still my daily and if I feel the car need something I will do it.... JUST FIXED THE RH AXLE PROBLEM AND ALSO DID A WHEEL BEARING WHILE I WAS THERE! IT HAD A LITTLE PLAY SO BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY ESPECIALLY WITH MY SON IN THE CAR...... Price still stands Firm at 6500 As you can see it is still being taken care of so you know you're getting a great car

And here's an Interior shot I took today for you curious peopleName: Spec-V Interior.jpg

Don't know yet, have been looking around at some cars a bit roomier in the rear than the Sentra but haven't really decided on anything yet here's what I've been looking at though G35x Sedan, WRX Wagon, Older EVOs, Possibly a newer Ralliart Lancer the Turbo 4WD ones, Juke, B16 Spec-V, Altima, Rogue,
Caliber SRT-4, Mazdaspeed3, and a few others just to toss out a few, I will never stop Tuning but I need something that is a bit more family friendly, I Really don't wanna let the Spec go but unfortunately it might just be time we'll see what happens I'm still on the edge (I guess that's how it is when you know the true value of what you got)

Sorry I strictly mentioned that the car is going as a whole and WILL NOT BE PARTED OUT, too much time and effort put into it for me to have to take it apart then get less than what I want for it, I have very specific plans and intentions which at the momentn are family oriented, if I don't end up keeping it. And if I get more part out requests the car will be kept until further notice or until the economy turns around :-)

I would have to say no because, one and no offense to you, but I really don't like the rs lip so I feel it might take away from my cars style, two knowing that I have a part which may be the last one and might not be made anymore in carbon fiber makes the car that little bit better, and three it requires time to take off and then put on a new lip, I barely have time to scratch my ass anymore because my newborn son is number one right now so I doubt I'll even get half way through that transaction, all in all the car is gonna be going as a whole to whoever the lucky future owner is going to be

Just a Bump up to see if any interest sparks, once the title comes in from the Bank the car will be posted on craigslist, nicoclub, and cars.com so this would be a chance to take a look before someone else comes by and snatches it away...

Thanks Mike, yea it's been a while, atleast you know that the car went to someone who took care of it, and now after years of blood sweat and tears I'm ready to pass it on again to someone who prospectively will give it the same care as we did. K.I.T. bro

Yes I did, but I don't really use my Facebook that much, and don't really want to link my work to my social life, because if I end up leaving to take on other endeavors in the future, it will be unfair to the people who contact me through Facebook. But I do like the idea

Ok fair enough...good luck with the sale.
