Thread: Modern Warfare 3 vs Battlefield 3?

The problem with baseing you claim on being good on your kd ratio is alot of people have garbage connections. As with any online game the connection is only as good as the hosts' Internet. You can go 25 and 2 and the next game you can go 10 and 20. My friends that I play with live across the pond so for all of us to have a good connection is rare. Besides that, you can pretty much pick up a cod game and be good. Not so much with battlefield. I will get both, but mw3 will be after the release date. Cod games just don't tickle my pickle like they used to.

i have modern warfare 3 pre ordered like every other call of duty game. i did download the free beta for battlefield 3 (xbox) and i am very impressed. im still going to get modern wafer 3 but i might also pick up battlefield.

I downlaoded the beta last night havn't tried it yet I will let you know what I think after I play it.

Update!!!!! Game blows nothing like MW3, yeah they have a destructive atmosphere but thats all they have

these CoD nuthuggers make me laugh.

it's the beta, you wont have full access to the features like (full graphics, Frostbite 2.0 destruction, etc.) the betas suck, usually best to wait for the real game so you don't get destorted over the shitiness. But your input helps them make a better release

Dont get me wrong its not a BAD game and if there was no such thing as Modern Warfare I would probably love Battlefield but to me the games are so similar as far as gameplay COD just Shines in comparison IMO

Been playing the beta on ps3 good time to rank up and get some weapons before release. This is going to be huge! the graphics are incredible this will easily blow the doors off modern warfare! It is more difficult and interactive and lower skilled gamers should just stick to MW3
I buy both games everytime there is a new release I still like battlefield best. Nazi zombies was great made the purchase worth while until dead island came out.

IMO Treyarch and there version of COD aka World At War and Black Ops are Trash the gameplay is good becasue the mainly just piggyback off of Infinity ward but the Overall graphichs are just plain bad and the sound effects are down right underwhelming. People wouldnt even still be playing there game if it wasnt for there gimic Zombie mode

I played the Beta too. No, the graphics are not top notch and the interface is not very smooth. But that's why it's just the Beta and not the final product. Game designers put out Beta versions of their games in order to get feedback as to what needs to be changed or adjusted. So, the Beta is not that great, but it's not supposed to be. The finished product will be 100 times better.

I call it an expansion pack because all you get is new maps, outfits and guns. It's the SAME OLD OUTDATED graphics engine they've been using since the original MW.

When I pay $60 for a new game, I'm expecting something that'll tax my system and something that takes advantage of modern technology. It's not worth it to pay full price for a game that just includes new maps and maybe a new type of game and a little more voice acting.

I tried to play the it again and this time I was running and went under the map.

new online maps, guns, attachments, perks, killstreaks, story mode, spec ops/zombies... so basically the only thing that is the same is the graphics..

see, scoobs is with me so that means im right.

I love Modern Warefare theres no other game like it, 1 click of a button and your knife swipes instead of taking it out and putting it away.
