Thread: Modern Warfare 3 vs Battlefield 3?

So this is the big debate right now. Which game will be better BF3 or MW3? Im one of the few that will get both to compare. But whos getting which and for what reasons?

DX11 graphics, 64-player multiplayer, dogfights with planes and choppers, tanks, jet ski's, hummers, atv's, apcs, squads, and real tactics and teamwork? BF3 please.

MW is run and gun. BF3 requires skill and strategy. Plus you don't get all the whiny, bitching, crying 13 year olds in the chat room or whatever MW is calling it now.

qft. I like playing mw when i'm alone just killing time. But when I have a bunch of my friends it's awesome to get together on one tank and just annihilate everybody by surprising the enemy from behind

me and my friends keep going back to mw2 and we take up a hole team. We annihilate people. tubes=awesome to piss people off

Oh, and BF3 will have a totally destructible environment. So if some dick keeps sniping at you from a building, just take the building down!

Why is this even a poll?

COD will always be an arcade style shooter for kids and people who cant actually play games intelligently. Spray and pray status.

BF3 will be for those who like a large scale, strategic shooter. People are still playing BF2... Can that be said about COD2?

Mw2 is always hacked now . Was it patched? On ps3 Sucks.

Lucky you. We can't get it on Steam here. Just on Origin.

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS GUNNA SAY! BF3 FTW!!!

Of course to get the best experience out of BF3, you'll need to play it on the PC.

To get the best experience out of MW games you have to get drunk, high, and invite the 12 year old neighbor kids over.

Did I mention BF is not a console game. Yes, they adapted it to work on consoles, but only 12v12. The real game aka the PC version will be proper 64 player madness.

yeah they need to fix that lol. i wanna play 64 player on PS3

PS3's don't have the WHP for it! They already had to dumb down the graphics to get it to play with a reasonable framerate on the consoles.

MW3 imo.
BF from my experience is whoever gets the tank first (or chopper, or whatever)

I loved the sniping in BFBC2 (500m headshots, cant do that in MW), but the vehicles just ruin the game for me. I love sniping, cant snipe when everyone is in a tank, or also sniping

BF also requires a much more powerful gpu

That's when you either wait for the tank to roll by and throw some C4 charges on it...or if you have mortars, call in a mortar strike on the it.

And yeah, a really good chopper pilot can be hard to kill although if you practice with the AT-4 you can take them down pretty easily.

any battlefield > any call of duty

ya gotta go with BF3 Loved BF2 then went with MW1 n 2 pissed there were no vehicles delt with it now i hear this is coming uhhhhhhhh fuck you MW3.......
