I guess dumb is the common theme among some of the people we are seeing in some of the threads today.

And people say body kits are bad. I rather see a car with a body kit than that ridiculous camber.

Exactly, so u end up with unevenly worn tires with a ton of pressure on the inside side wall which is dangerous if you have a blow out on the highway...smh i just don't get it

Yup I was just commenting in another thread about the pedobear about how it is just like neon lights, body kits, NOS stickers and hellaflush, utterly useless dumbass trends....having said that, I'd rather rock the pedobear/NOS stickers, neon lights and a body kit, before I put those ridiculous looking wrong sized tire/wheel combos w/ -15deg camber lol

    Question Newb Q&A

I can't see the pic you guys posted cuz I'm at work, but if I'm reading the rest of the thread right your guys concerns are the low profile tires?? or is it a combination of the low prof tires and the lowered stance?

No that is incorrect, it's a combination of excess negative camber AND a wider wheel than tire. For example a 8" wide rim with a 205 width tire and -6* camber.

    Question

    in the interest of learning...

camber is drop yes? the car is lowered to some extent?? -6 camber is lower the wheels like 6 degrees or something?

No, camber is the degree from perpendicular to the ground. If 0* camber forms a right angle from the tire to the ground, negative camber would create an obtuse angle as the negative camber increases

    Here's my buddies GT-s carolla.

The functional purpose of camber is to allow your outside tire to "roll" with your chassis and be flat with the pavement as you turn. This gives the tire more surface contact and better grip while turning. If the camber is more than the car can turn over, it doesn't help but hurts your grip because only the inside of the tire is gripping the pavement instead of the whole tire.

    Hope I explained that correctly.

So obviously if you camber isn't right your wheels rub the fenders when you turn?
