Going 5 lug soon, and big brakes all around, I will need to ditch the stock spare, and possibly pick up a full size. What stinks is a full size 17" with 215/45 tire doesn't fit well in the spare hole.
I may just need a 17" with a rubber band tire on it. Lol.
But saying the need of a spare is totally avoidable by being aware and using proper maintenance is a pretty bad idea. They don't call accidents "accidents" because they're on purpose.

I have a full size spare from a versa steely 15" rim. I drive too far to not have one and I don't like donuts
However when I go to the raceway, I take it out
this is the oem spare tire when you have brembo's
this is the spare i had to get after going 5 lug, it won't fit the front just the rear
