    Default Tire Dimensioning

    Quick break down of tire dimensions

    225/40/R18 A/B/C

    A= Section Width
    B= Side Wall Height
    C= Wheel Size

    So it seems as if winter has pretty much skipped the season, and spring is upon us. Its time for new tires and have have decided to go with the Good Year Eagle GT's for the awesome 50,000 mile warranty and the tread looks fierce. Last summer i used up my set of Continental Extreme Contact. The tire dimensions on the old set where 225/40/R18.

    I am running Enkei FLC-01 18" by 7.5 OFFSET ZEHERO

    I have been playing around with this tire calulator and have have numbered it down to two choices of dimensions.

    245/35/18 -3/16 diameter + 7/16 width =
    235/40/18 +1/4 diameter + 1/4 width = Maybe

    I dont know how to word this, but I want the Fat Tire look. I know all about the fender rolling and what not, and possibly might

    DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INPUT ON HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH ON THE WIDTH DIMENSION OF THE TIRE ON A 7.5 WHEEL.
    HOW MUCH DIMENSIONAL WIDTH CAN A ROLLED SENTRA FENDER HANDLE?

    Going from a 225 to a 245 tire sounds questionable.

    LOOKING FOR INPUT PLEASE

    Meat flush is what you're looking for. Lol.

    I know people have fit a 235/45 tires on the stock wheels before, so 245/35 on 7.5" wheels doesn't sound way out there. some tire shops may not be willing to mount them though.

    You'll have a zero offset?! These wheels are going to poke like crazy I bet, with 245's on them at least.
    HOW TO USE THE B15U.COM SEARCH!

    THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANYTHING MADE THAT DID NOT HAVE A PURPOSE

    You also would want to consider the actual tire themselves. Some tires have what they call "rim guard" and they're actually wider than what the advertised thread width.
