    Default Flush Status

So i have been to some other specv forums since MSV shut down and so far none of the guys on there seem to be into wheels like myself. Now that im back in my car i wanna do a sick wheel setup. From what i have noticed, you guys seem to all have green wheels, idk what the deal is but i like it hahaha. That being said, does anyone on here have a setup that is worthy of being called hella flush? Ive seen a few people pull of a nice setup with some rota D2s but i want to see some variety. Let me see what you have.

Rota d2's are prob the only decently priced wheel to which we can have a low offset 4x1143 wheel. And their made in 7.5 and 8.5 wide rims.

Ask "serta" on this forum bc he made it work and it looks fucking awesome.

I'll be doing 17x8 +35 205/40 tire & 17x9 +35 215/40 tire real soon, waiting on the buyer for my Nismo wheels. I searched forever untill I found a wheel that actually fits out lug pattern. I did some measurements and these wheels should fit, if they dont I will make them fit.

I beg to differ, so far the flushest sentra i have yet to see is on Rota D2s(serta).

I was thinking some D2s or these.

xxr 962s in 17x9 +35 offset Front and rear if they will fit. with a 15mm spacer, effective offset +20
    http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-Wheels-962-s/48.htm
    Or
xxr 522s in 16x8 +0 offest front and rear, scrappin the brembos for some regular brakes(otherwise they dont have the concave of offset im looking for)
    http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-522-Wheels-s/1522.htm
    Or
xxr 521 in 17x7 +38 offset front and rear with a 12mm spacer, effective offset +20

^^^ I have to agree. There are tons of vehicles out there rocking Rota's with a aggressive flush setup. Shane(I <3 My Sentra) you seem like your going in the right direction. Although with a spacer larger than 5mm you will definitly need ARP extended wheel studs. I did some measuring in the rear and I know the rear will be able to clear the strut/spring's with a low enough offset, however I didn't try and measure our the front, but I know 8" fit in with a less aggressive wheel so it should have no problem with a lower offset, it may actually be better and have more clearance.

How do you measure this to see if it will fit? Id like to get under there and see what i can do. Do you know how flush i can get with those 16x8 xxr's? Will they look as flush as a set of 17s? The reason i am asking is if you look at those wheels they get less agressive as you go up in 17s, so this is like the only wheel i can get to be different, unless of course i go 5 lug swap. But then again no 16 can fit over brembos, so im kinda in a pickle.

You can get pretty flush with 16x8 XXR's with an offset of 35mm or lower. If you dont have coilovers, lowering springs will not get your wheels flush. The only down fall to getting 16" is that you will need to lower the car more to have em sit flush and they wont clear Brembo's or Wilwoods. Also I would suggest a small tire stretch, dont go throwing 235/45 tires and expect it not to rub like crazy.

Its really just a guessing game, you gotta mess with spacers, tire sizes, and wheel demensions. Since nobody really did it before without some crazy fender rolling & pulling its hard to expect what will work and not work.

Im about to just try the 16x8 in +0 offset and try it. I have brembos, but the offset is so low that it should clear. No one has tried it so idk. Is the clearance issues with brembos due to wheel diameter or offset? BTW whats a good set of coilovers that i can get that arent gonna bend me over and break it off it me. I had a used set of Tein Basics and they popped and shit all the time so i had to take them off and regrease them periodically. I just want a set that are really adjustable and not gonna kill me with regreasing issues/popping.

The spoke design is the only problem you may have with running such a low offset. If the spokes stick out far enough you may be able to clear brembo's but IMO I really doubt they will clear. Brembo's are big and bulky, and its hard fitting wheels with high offsets.

I highly suggest Megan Racing Street Series Coilovers. Thats what a view friends & I are rocking and they seem to be working out great. 32 Way Dampening adjustable and Hieght adjustable. Great bang for the buck. If you want something that will last you forever with camber plates, I suggest Tein SS but those will run you over a grand.

Word i was thinking megan racing, Enjuku down the street sells them for 800 so i figured might as well pick them up. Also i feel like the offset is so low on those 16x8 and they concave that they will clear the brembos no problem. Any who im just gonna have to see. Since you have megans, one i get my fitment issues figured out, do you think i can run that wheel with a 215 tire stretched and get it to sit pretty low on the megans? I need it to be pretty low so its flush, but not so low i dragin oil pan everywhere lol.

Yeah but a 215 series tire isn't much of a stretch on an 8" wide wheel.

Sorry Im a broke ass college kid, no need to get snobby because you own 7 sets of wheels. Im doing what i can with what i have. If you want to help, it would be much appreciated, otherwise no one asked.

ADR- What would be a stretched tire on a 8 inch wheel? Like i said idk i was taking a guess, would it be somewhere in the ballpark of a 205 tire or 195?
