so the nissan started smoking and oil is good , not overheating , no miss , and there is like a buttery oil substance in my tailpipe, when accelerated blows even thicker. anyone have any knowledge on this?
i have been told it could be the turbo....

More than likely the turbocharger. I have seen the feed lines starting to fail on the v2 mr16 that is in your car. Its a common issue on the v2 engine. It will clog, starving the bearings of oil, which will make the oil seals get hot, then when/if the clog releases, oil just pours out the exhaust.

Only issue with that theory is; white smoke is coolant. Are you sure it does not have a blue shade to it?

If it is the turbo, see if its under warranty, that is a MASSIVE job on the sentra sr turbos. You don't want to front that bill.
