In the morning every once in a while i would try to go from 2nd to 3rd gear and every once in a while it would feel like it hit something, now a few hours later every time i am switching from 2nd gear to 3rd gear it stops trying to go in and i have to wait a second in neutral to go into 3rd. at stoplights i can go straight into 3rd from 2nd, but when im actually driving it like hits something and stops before it goes into 3rd and have to wait a second in neutral to go in. i do have a leak in the rear main seal, and am meaning to get that fixed, but i dont know if it can be connected with that or not, so any ideas? and its an 04 spec v

fuck 3rd gear.

Im guessing its syncros..........but check the fluid level

When its cold i can forget about 1st for 10min, 2nd is a pita, and 3rd is notchy and crunches.

alright yea thats what i was thinkin, but its workin good today so well see how it goes, also my car is idling at low rpm's at stoplights and kinda knocks so im guessing
oil pump maybe but not sure
