Fuel pump primes
Just put in new cam / crank sensors
And put in a new battery today

Car wouldn't start this morning. Drove it all day Saturday no problem

Now it just cranks all day. Fuel pump is fairly new and primes as normal

Any thoughts. Plugs don't look fouled but I swapped them anyway

Bump. Just swapped my fuel pump with my roomates 04

Also just checked all fuses

Nothing different

I'm not sure if my injectors are firing at thia point.

Slightly

Here's an update. Ecm relay stopped turning on. I swapped it with another but no luck

My safc also stopped. Are there fuses for thw ecu. Could I have possibly fried one

Ecm gets power
Replaced relay
Everything turns on but no spark when cranking. I'm throwing a cam sensor code that I thibk is from a corroded connector. I have re wired it but the code still keepancoming up along with p1111

Turn the key to the "on" position, see if you have power coming out of the cam sensor connector on the red/green wire. Check if you have power on the red wire on the CVTC solenoid. The only thing that is common to the cam sensor and CVTC solenoid is the ECM relay and fuse#36 under the hood. Turn the key off, check continuity to ground on the Cam sensor plug (black). Check continuity from the green wire (ivt solenoid) to pin #107 on the ecu.

The only thing that bothers me is that you're saying that the ECU has power. If it does, then that fuse#36 should work because that's what's giving the ECM relay power to turn on the power for the ECU.

Yeah the eccs fuse
I popped it yesterday and put in a new one

Currently my cam sensor has a homemade harness so I'm teying to figure out if the wires are correct

Black wire
Red wire
Red with green stripe. Not sure where they correapond to the sensor

Awesome I will correct this and update

Forward in realtion to the car?

Timing chain stretched? Put #1 on tdc, pull the cam sensor out and look at the marks on the camshaft. They should be flat. Seen this happen a few times.

#14 ·
Cam sensor has voltage
Vtc does not

About to set at tdc

#15 ·
Timing is good

Also I'm getting no rpm reading while cranking. Is this normal

#16 ·
Just tested the vtc solenoid. Seems tonwork with 12v. Only code right now is p1111. I don't see that making a no start

Will ignition coils get power witg key on or only while cranking

No cranking rpm indicates a crank sensor. Do you have access to a scanner? Id ike to know what it sees for rpm while cranking.
Im assuming u cleared the codes after fixing wiring. And it is still throwing that code...
Basics. Fuel , spark, air....
Test fuel pressure koeo. See if within spec.
If yes look at injectors.
Spark...tech you can rig up a jig to test this.. But a low amp current probe is best/easiest.
If you have spark...and plugs are good...check ...you do have gas right?
Normally id say check maf...then timing. Let me know what you find
Compression test comming up...lol
Hopefully not

I don't seem to get any voltage read at all from the coil

I used a dmm lead to probe.

Go get another ck sensor....wouldnt be the first time a new one was bad...
They should exchange it

#22 ·
Timing is good I checked it using the above stated method

I do have an additional crank/cam sensor so I will swap them today

I. Just don't understand how I could loose compression overnight lol

#23 ·
I do have a scannet

I also have a Safc connected to ecu power

And I noticed its reading no rpm with cranking

Bump for any ideas before I just start a part out thread :/

Bro take it to my mechanic, he is a gtr tech at harte Nissan, he does most of the hardcore jobs on my car under the table and knows the qr from head to toe, bet he will figure out the issue in 2 seconds

Never broughr any car to a mechanic

Can't start now

Code is for the valve timing solenoid

Which I tested

All I can find for p1111 is valve timing circuit code
