Hey guys so I just replaced my clutch, pressure plate, throwout and fork. Looking at the flywheel I thought I could make it work at the time because I wasn't quite ready to drop the money for the dual mass. But It sounds like I am getting some flywheel chatter. So sadly I get to drop the trans again 馃槳. But I have been looking around and I find whole kits with a single mass flywheel that are the price as the dual mass alone. I was wondering do I have to use the dual or can I go with one of those single kits

Single is fine and will rev more freely, make sure you get a sprung clutch though.

Dual mass is not needed. Single does fine. Not aluminum!!

It a back and forth ordeal, I've dealt and seen the issue of the bolt hole not staying with in spec and there are a lot of issues.

Because aluminum is relatively soft, I guess the vibrations flatten and reduce the bounce back of the aluminum in the flywheel under the shoulder of the bolts, where flywheel bolts tend to back out.
