Hello everyone, I'm new here and I'm hoping for some good advice for an issue I'm having with my 2013 Nissan Sentra.

My car idles fine with no RPM fluctuation. However, when I'm driving it fluctuates significantly and it's getting worse over time. Sometimes it doesn't even shift and I'm stuck going slowly at 4K+ RPM; when this happens, I pull over, shift into park and then back to drive and it fixes that issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

It has a CVT and there is no engine light.

Might be a CVT issue but I not sure as I'm not very informed on there operation but know they have problems. When was the last time you had the fluid changed, they tend to fail faster with out moderate changes as the chain or what ever it is is dependent on good fluid.

There is a way to pull the codes with out a scanner to verify you don't have a soft code, if you search and can't find it somebody can post a link or image of the directions.
