Creader OBD II Scanner $5, picked up
Scan and clear DTC Codes. Uses PWM, VPW and ISO Protocols (Nissan). Attach directly to OBD II port or with the included extension.

Cen-Tech CAN OBD II Scanner $25,picked up
2-line display.
Works with PWM, VPW, ISO, KWP and the next generation CAN Protocol.
Retrieves emission readiness status of OBD monitors.
Scans and clears DTC Codes.
Shows pending codes.

Both readers come with manuals and code definitions

I will ship either item for an additional $8 by USPS Priority Mail.

Does the cheaper one Show pending codes ? also does it delete them as well ?
or will it just display the codes ?

Both scanners will delete codes and turn off the "check engine" light, however, if the problem isn't fixed, both the DTC code and the light will reappear after several driving cycles after all monitors are re-queried. You will need to return for an emissions test if the monitors are not in the ready state.

The $25 unit will tell you which monitors were reset with pending codes; the $5 unit will not.

Will they both work for a 2g eclipse? Its running obd2.
