Like title states are the gxe and spec v calipers the same in the front? Non brembo ofcourse

I'll have to look again but I want to say no... haven't messed with stock front calipers in over 15 years.

Yeah that’s what I found that the calipers r the same but the rotors r an inch smaller. Plan on trying to fit 13” rims on my car for a taller sidewall slick and when I looked up parts they were the same

I mean theoretically people run bigger brakes on older cars, should be able to go the other way too. What about b13 calipers and rotors?

Idn if the mounts r the same on a b13 as a b15. I know Pete at V1R is running gxe calipers and rotors and fits 13s over it. I wouldn’t mind 15s but I grenade the tire instantly on the 15 and can’t crack a 1.6 60 so taller sidewall should help there

I'm pretty sure the calipers are the same, but the caliper brackets are different to bring the caliper down more being the rotors are smaller.

yeah that’s what I thought as well but I have a set of brackets from rock auto and it’s saying that the brackets fit both the spec v and the gxe

thats crazy if you look up on advance or autozone they are different.

the spec v is different side to side.
then the gxe is the same part number on each side

Yeah I just looked on advanced and the part numbers r different I guess rock auto messed up
