Hi guys, looking for some head bolt input. Any tips here? I was told its ok to use an impact to get them out but I am afraid of breaking the head of the bolt off.

any best practices?

Make sure you have the hex bit straight and all the way in there or you'll have a bad week. Don't reuse them either, get new ones to replace it with. Either get some arp studs or just the new updated ones from Nissan. I believe they started using 07+ bolts.

Always by hand. Need that 2 foot 1/2" breaker bar.

Also, don't just use any hex head socket if they are the factory bolts. Use a high quality or impact hex socket or you will break or even bend it or strip the bolt. These are torqued up to 100 ft-lbs.

Thanks I got them out! I ended up tipping the engine on its side while it was on the engine stand and breaking them loose. I just couldnt get a good angle with the engine stand upright.
