so i tried to wire in my wideband yesterday and i couldnt get it powered on. i tried wiring it to the radio power and ground (though i know i shouldnt do that) and tried wiring it to the cig lighter, neither of which would power it. finally, thinking i got burned on a sale, i took two jumper wires straight to the battery and it finally kicked on, but only for a second or two at most. if i cant even get the battery to power it constantly, where can i possibly wire it to to keep it working?

Does it give any error codes? I have mine mounted where the center air vent was and tapped into the hazard switch harness, works fine but its a brand new gauge.

nope. no error codes. it wont power on at all using factory wiring, and only stays on for a few seconds connected right to the battery

Which model is it? Mtx-l ?
Might be broken I guess.

its not broken, i tested it. all i want to know is where others have wired their widebands to that gave them good power, as i haven't found anything able to keep it on yet.
